The MSc “SCIENCES OF EDUCATION” aims to train specialised scientists, researchers, trainers, teachers and executives of formal and non-formal education, so that they can contribute to the optimisation of education, the development of scientific research and the promotion of scientific knowledge in the fields of: a) Teaching and Learning and b) Psycho-pedagogy of Reading, Literacy and Educational Materials.

This direction focuses on issues and problems of school education related to the classroom and school environment, the communication between teacher and student and aims at both their research approach and their deepening with the ultimate goal of using the results for the improvement of data and teaching conditions.
The aim of this direction is to combine for the first time, systematically and interdisciplinarily, the investigation of the psycho-pedagogical process of reading with the use of children’s literature, the teaching of literature in general, the cultivation and development of literacy in children and adults, as well as the design and production of appropriate educational material for this purpose.
